Welcome to the official Build with Gemma Hackathon, hosted by GDG On Campus Techno India University under Google's Build with Gemma program.

This is your opportunity to build impactful AI applications powered by Gemma 4, collaborate with fellow innovators, and solve real-world challenges through artificial intelligence. Whether you're passionate about creating intelligent assistants, improving education, transforming healthcare, or empowering businesses, this hackathon is designed to turn your ideas into reality.

Compete for a USD $1,000 Prize Pool, with prize money distributed directly to the winners by the Kaggle Team, subject to Kaggle's Terms & Conditions.

Hackathon Tracks

Open Innovation :Build any innovative AI solution using Gemma 4 that addresses a meaningful real-world problem.

AI for Education : Create intelligent learning experiences through personalized tutoring, accessibility tools, content generation, or student productivity solutions.

AI for Healthcare : Develop AI applications that improve healthcare accessibility, wellness, patient support, or medical understanding.

AI for Small Businesses : Design AI solutions that help startups and local businesses automate workflows, enhance customer experiences, and improve productivity.

AI for Travel & Tourism : Build smart travel assistants that simplify trip planning, multilingual communication, local discovery, and travel experiences.

The hackathon will begin with an online kickoff on 24 July . Participants will continue building their projects and are required to be present offline at Techno India University, Kolkata, on 25 July for the final project presentations and judging.

Complete your RSVP through the registration form. After your registration is reviewed and confirmed, you will receive a Kaggle Competition invitation, WhatsApp Community link, and further event instructions via email.

NOTE : This is a Team hackathon ( Everyone has to register individually)
Minimum member in a team should be 2 and maximum 4 is allowed.

Hi, I wanted to confirm the registration process. Since it's a team hackathon but everyone has to register individually, should we register first and form the team later, or do we need to have a team before registering? Thank you!

I would like to attend this event because it will provide me with an excellent opportunity to explore Gemma in depth, gain hands-on experience with Google's AI ecosystem, and learn how to build practical AI solutions using Google tools. It will also allow me to connect with fellow developers, learn from industry experts, and expand my knowledge of the latest Google technologies.
