Build with On-Device AI

Sep 26, 10:00 AM
Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIEST)

Step into local execution and edge model workflows with Build with On-Device AI. This session is hosted by Machine Learning Kolkata supported by Google for Developers.

Join developers, AI enthusiasts, and researchers to explore local execution, edge workflows, and on-device machine learning architectures through expert talks and demonstrations.

Through technical discussions and code walkthroughs, you will explore Google ADK, LiteRT-LM, WebGPU, and On-Device AI.

Key Tech Focus: What We Will Cover

We will look at structured edge and local agent development:

  • Google ADK on-device: Review how to build and orchestrate agent components targeting local hardware and edge environments.
  • LiteRT-LM: Explore deploying and running language models efficiently on-device using LiteRT engine.
  • WebGPU Acceleration: Examine hardware-accelerated local execution in web environments for modern browser-based AI workflows.
  • Local Tool Integration: Connect local on-device AI agents with tools, APIs, and data sources.

Who Should Attend and Prerequisites

  • Target Audience: ML engineers, software developers, AI researchers, and students interested in local and edge agentic systems.
  • Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Python and basic AI concepts. Bring a laptop if you wish to follow along with the code presentations.

📢 Important Notice

Please read the following carefully for the event:

⚠️ RSVP and Attendance Policy

Because this is a limited-capacity, selective event, managing seat availability is crucial to ensure that interested developers do not miss out.

  • Cancel Your RSVP if Plans Change: If you are no longer planning or able to attend, please cancel your RSVP immediately. This allows us to reallocate your seat to someone on the waitlist.
  • Prior No-Show Policy: As you may have noticed during the selection process, applicants who RSVP'd to our past events but did not attend (without prior cancellation) were not accepted for this event.
  • Impact on Future Events: This RSVP verification process will be strictly enforced for all future flagship events hosted by Machine Learning Kolkata. Failing to attend a confirmed event without cancelling beforehand will impact your selection for subsequent events.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a fair and organized registration process for the local developer community.
